I have been working with technology, specifically music technology for a few years now. I am very interested in how technical innovations can benefit education, music education and music technology education. Many of the projects I have explored involved a great deal of experimentation with technology and musical ideas. Many of these experiments were trial and error. One part of my interest in this course is to see what others are doing, such that I may someday develop projects and experiments that help people teach themselves. I hope that they do so with greater efficiency and satisfaction than trial and error. I have started using the Wii-remote for my own performance pieces, and music experimentation workshops. This remote allows a user to move, dance, and jump around while, controlling a computer music system. |
